In addition to her indoor plants, Summer Rayne is an active member of a community garden, helping manage a wildlife food forest, rain garden, and her own vegetable bed. She volunteers regularly there and at a neighboring senior center, helping maintain their chicken coop. She even has a rescue chicken named Kippee, which she picked up at the senior center, who accompanies her on her visits.
