Made from Premium Timberland® Leather, it features waterproof construction and a GreenStride™ sole made using an EVA blend that includes 65% biobased materials derived from sugar cane and responsibly grown rubber and ReBOTL™ material made from 50% recycled PET plastic. This high-rebound EVA foam is made with at least 65% renewable materials: sugar cane and natural rubber tapped from trees. GreenStride™ is USDA Certified Biobased.

An internal GORE-TEX membrane is built into the boot or shoe to create a waterproof and breathable barrier. The GORE-TEX membrane helps keep feet dry and protected, while allowing moisture vapor from sweat to pass through.

The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® apparel contains at least 40% recycled PET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate, the stuff plastic bottles are made of). The ReBOTL™ material used in Timberland® footwear and accessories contains at least 50% recycled PET. (Excepting trace materials)

Our waterproof footwear incorporates a variety of advanced waterproofing materials, treatments and processes. We start with waterproof leathers that are sealed as part of the tanning process; we then either seam-seal the footwear or use an internal waterproof breathable membrane to help feet stay dry. Tongues and zippers treated with durable water resistant coatings utilize integrated gussets, to further deter water entry.
