GripMax SR Outsole
An outsole made of a premium soling compound, utilizing a repeating tread design that maximizes surface contact with square leading edges to provide slip resistance where wet and oily contaminates are present. Meets the SRO requirements of ASTM F2413, F2892, or F3445, when tested to F2913.

GripMax Ice Outsole
Timberland PRO® GripMax™ Ice exclusive particle inclusion lugs provide enhanced traction on wet ice surfaces vs. traditional rubber soles, plus reliable traction on wet, soapy, and oily contaminated surfaces. Meets the SRO requirements of ASTM F2413, F2892, or F3445, when tested to F2913.

All-Weather Thermoplastic Urethane Cold Formula
Specially-formulated thermoplastic urethane compound designed to maintain flexibility in variable weather conditions providing enhanced traction on wet and frosted ice surfaces, plus slip, oil and abrasion resistance.

Heat Resistant Outsole
Solid Timberland PRO® rubber compound outsole resists hot contact using the EN ISO 20344 test method at 1000°F (537°C).

Vibram®
Articulated Vibram® outsoles are made with a medium-soft compound for superior traction in rock-based environments. They are zoned for flexibility and independant lug deflection to minimize weight and maximize traction.

Carbon Shield™ Safety Toe

Waterproof Membrane

Blood-Borne Pathogen
Breathable membrane helps protect from diseases caused by blood-borne pathogens, as defined by ASTM F1671.

Puncture-Resistant Device (Metallic Plate)
Puncture Resistant Device (Metallic Plate) : Flexible steel plate provides puncture protection to the sole of the foot. Meets ASTM F2413 and ASTM F2892 puncture resistance (PR) requirements when tested to F2412.

Puncture-Resistant Device (Non-Metallic Plate)
Flexible non-metallic plate provides puncture protection to the sole of the foot. Meets ASTM F2413 and ASTM F2892 puncture resistance (PR) requirements when tested to F2412.

Protective Thread
Protective thread is made from Para-Aramid fibers and is used for its strength, fire-retardance along with its resistance to melting, acids and mildew.

Slip-Resistant Outsole (SR)
Meets the SR requirements of ASTM F2413, F2892, or F3445, when tested to F2913.

Slip-Resistant Outsole (SRO)
Meets the SRO requirements of ASTM F2413, F2892, or F3445, when tested to F2913.

SD 10
Footwear that provides an electrical resistance between 1 megaohm to 10 megaohms, ensuring that they meet the SD 10 requirement of ASTM F2413 or ASTM F2892, when tested to ASTM F2412. SD 10 footwear protects equipment by dissipating static electricity to the walking surface while providing the wearer limited protection against electric shock.

SD 35
Footwear that provides an electrical resistance between 1 megaohm to 35 megaohms, ensuring that they meet the SD 35 requirement of ASTM F2413 or ASTM F2892, when tested to ASTM F2412. SD 35 footwear protects equipment by dissipating static electricity to the walking surface while providing the wearer limited protection against electric shock.

Electric Hazard
Provides secondary underfoot protection against live electrical circuits, electrically energized conductors, parts or apparatus less than 600 volts. Meets the ASTM standards F2413 and F2892 requirements when tested to F2412.

Puncture-Resistant Device (Metallic Plate)
Puncture Resistant Device (Metallic Plate) : Flexible steel plate provides puncture protection to the sole of the foot. Meets ASTM F2413 and ASTM F2892 puncture resistance (PR) requirements when tested to F2412.

Puncture-Resistant Device (Non-Metallic Plate)
Flexible non-metallic plate provides puncture protection to the sole of the foot. Meets ASTM F2413 and ASTM F2892 puncture resistance (PR) requirements when tested to F2412.

Canadian Safety Association
Meets CSA Z195 safety standards to provide grade 1 toe protection and a protective sole plate.

Skydex® Met-Guard Technology
Engineered to provide lightweight metatarsal protection. Meets ASTM F2413 metatarsal protection (Mt) requirements when tested to ASTM F2412.

3M™ Retroreflective Material
High-visibility reflective material designed to help keep you safe on the job.
