Timberland Boot Company: Spring '16

Our craft heritage in boots has always been the backbone behind our Timberland Boot Company collections. This collection of premium hand-crafted boots are made with the finest leathers and materials for a vintage feel that actually looks better with age. In other words, they’re worth it.

This season, we have a few new additions to our classic collection – and they come in lighter colors just in time for spring (but if we’re being honest, we’ll wear these whenever possible).

The Lineman Collection is inspired by the early years when men, known as “linemen” built and climbed electrical poles and lines in the 1900s. They needed boots that were rugged, strong, abrasion resistant and tough – and we’ve taken a cue from them in our latest collection. Important: this does not mean you should go climb electrical poles and lines. Maybe just admire their history in your stylish boots instead.

Allow us to introduce our 6-inch Lineman Boot. Crafted with worn-in, premium Horween® leather, this boot is designed to be extra robust and add an outdoorsman touch to any outfit. Designed and built in the USA, choose from hand-stained leather in Dark Russet or Dark Brown. These go with everything - keep it simple in jeans and a T-shirt or swap out the tee for a button-down and blazer, as seen above (man-bun optional). Either way, it’s a boot that pulls an outfit together and you’ll look ready for anything, even that means a forgot-the-milk grocery run.

The Wodehouse Collection takes us way back. It is a collection inspired by a time gone by – modern design that’s great for the modern man but made with the elegance of the timeless era (and our fine Horween® leathers).

For a lightweight spring shoe with serious style, get the Wodehouse Oxford. An oxford is always a must-have in the wardrobe, but these are crafted with premium full-grain leather that’s hand-finished for a well-worn appearance unique to each pair. So not only will you look good, but your feet will actually feel good. Score. Wear them with chinos and a lightweight sweater for work, or take them out with slim-fit dark denim and a leather jacket. 

Laces aren’t always necessary. For a sleek slip-on, our Wodehouse Slip-On Shoes are made with the same premium materials, but is a no-lace alternative. We love these because they’re comfortable (leather-lined footbeds and a Vibram® outsole help), but they’re also the perfect mix of timeless and edgy with a western-meets-street style vibe.   Also a great alternative to oxfords, keep them in your office-to-drinks rotation.
