TIMBERLOOP™ Take back Program TERMS
Sponsor: Timberland, a division of VF Outdoor, LLC, Stratham, NH 03885 (“Timberland”).
Effective January 1, 2024
These terms replace the previous terms governing the TIMBERLOOP™ Take back Program. Please read these terms carefully as the Program’s structure and availability has changed. Primary among these changes, Timberland will no longer accept returns of Timberland® items by mail: as of the effective date, returns will ONLY be accepted in-store.
Program is open only to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older who are not employees of Timberland® or resellers or dealers of Timberland® products.
By participating in the Program, consumer agrees to abide by and be bound by these Terms.
Return of Timberland® Item:
Visit any Timberland® retail or outlet store in the U.S. (NOT 3rd party dealers of Timberland® items). Give Timberland® item(s) to Store associate at courtesy counter.
Inappropriate conduct at Timberland® store voids Program participation.
Provision of 20% off discount code is conditioned upon Timberland® store associate determining in their sole discretion that Timberland® item(s) is/are genuine. (Timberland® item will be accepted regardless of condition.) If a Timberland® item is determined not to be genuine, 20% off discount code will NOT be provided and Timberland shall NOT have any liability to consumer under any legal theory. If multiple Timberland® items are returned, Timberland may accept or reject one or more of the items in their sole discretion.
Store associate will advise whether Timberland® item(s) are genuine and acceptable “on the spot.” If accepted, 20% off discount code will be applied to the purchase of any single Timberland® merchandise item in that Timberland® store on that day. 20% off discount code is void if not used on that day. If multiple items are accepted, one (1) 20% off discount code will be issued for each item accepted.
20% off discount codes are subject to the following conditions:
Valid only on in-stock items (no rain checks);
Cannot be applied to prior purchases;
Cannot be stacked with other Timberland offers, coupons, discounts or promotions;
Cannot be redeemed for cash or credit;
Discount will be applied prior to tax;
Valid only for original recipient and is not transferable.
Additional Restrictions:
Consumer represents and warrants that they are the rightful, sole owner of the Timberland® item(s) to be returned.
Fraudulent conduct voids Program participation.
All decisions of Timberland with regard to the Program are final and binding in all respects.
Once submitted for return, consumer relinquishes any and all right to Timberland® item(s) under any legal theory, regardless of whether the Timberland item(s) is/ are accepted and result in issuance of 20% off discount code(s). A CONSUMER SHOULD ONLY PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM IF THEY ARE WILLING TO FORFEIT ANY AND ALL PROPRIETARY RIGHTS THAT THEY HAVE IN THE SUBMITTED TIMBERLAND® ITEM(S) WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT ISSUANCE OF A 20% OFF DISCOUNT IS NOT GUARANTEED.
Timberland disclaims any and all liability for computer, telephone, cable, network, electronic, programming or wireless Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures or errors of any kind in conjunction with the Program.
Consumer bears sole responsibility for any and all costs and expenses in conjunction with participation in the Program.
Timberland may terminate the Program by posting a notice to such effect in all Timberland® stores in the U.S. and on Timberland.com/responsibility with at least two (2) weeks’ prior notice. As of date of termination, returns of Timberland® items will no longer be accepted. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Timberland reserves the right to terminate the Program immediately due to occurrence of a force majeure event (e.g., a natural disaster, materials shortage, riot, strike, government intervention or pandemic/epidemic); in such instance, notice to such effect will be posted in all Timberland® stores in the U.S. and on Timberland.com/responsibility .
Program void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.
