The Timberland Company has been proudly making high-quality, rugged products that are built to last since the creation of the original yellow boot back in 1973.

The story goes that, after noticing that his fellow hardworking New Englanders had a genuine need for durable, outdoor footwear, Timberland owner Sidney Swartz set out to design a boot that was not only totally waterproof, but that also blended traditional craftsmanship and the best leather. 

Each season, our designers source the finest materials and combine it with the best craftsmanship to create each collection which takes a modern, tailored aesthetic that is both current and timeless.

Take the updated Coulter collection. Using Horween leather from the oldest existing tannery in the United States, each piece is crafted by hand in the United States. 

For a laid-back yet snappy look you can’t beat Coulter Chukkas. Using a specific tannage with the fewest oils and dyes, leather lined footbeds and Goodyear Welted Construction, each pair is built to last. Choose your favorite pair of black shades then wear them with some raw denim and a crisp white T-Shirt for an easy everyday look.

For a smarter feel why not try our Coulter Oxfords. These lace-ups are a fine mix of form and function, and look great worn with rolled-up chinos or sockless with a pair of shorts.

For something a little more impactful, the Coulter Boot is a classic pull-on that’s as durable as it is distinguished with a hint of moto-inspired ruggedness. They’re perfect for year-round wear, so why not pack a bag and head out for another adventure.
