i bought my first pair in year 2000. i am still wearing it today. however i feel the sole is not durable as the rest of the shoe and after a couple of years it starts to peel off from. that time i dint know i can send it back to Timberlands and a roadside cobbler restictched the whole sole for durability.

i wish the sole can be more durable and sticthced to the shoe rather than glued.

i like this shoe so much so i bought another pair last month.

I live in Michigan and wear these shoes all winter long, unless there is deep snow. They are VERY warm outdoors, yet not too warm once you get inside.

I have loved this shoe for years. I bought a pair to wear in high school and they helped togiveme that "preppy look" with dress shirts, sweater vests and khakis. You have to break them in the first couple of wears and they will stain your pants if they are light colored. However, they are durable and stylish.
