I have walked millions of footsteps in these, my favourite pair of Timberlands, on London pavements, on the streets of Bangkok, trekking in Wales, on the beaches of Bali and on daytrips to Camber Sands. They have driven the pedals of my mountain bike and are my first choice of footwear when driving. I feel comfortable wearing them wherever I go, whatever I do, safe in the knowledge that they will get me there and back in comfort without my feet getting wet.

This is an excellent all weather shoe and good for travelling and can be used for causal and informal outings and grows comfoortable wih use. I also found it o be tough and protects the foot and has good grip for both city and country use and would rate it very well.

About 12 years ago I bought some Cat shoes like these. They were chunky and were black. They lasted for ages.
The style of these shoes could be improved by a bigger flat at the front and a bigger rolled over seam around the flat. This would give a more purposeful look. In general shoes should always be available in black, like socks black is best.
I was looking for some good shoes for leisure, not trainers or traditional boat shoes as these are a bit twee. These do the job.
