These are the boots that have not only withstood our tests for durability and protection, they've withstood the test of time. This special collection is limited to only 1973 pairs each to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our very first original Yellow Boot – the one that started it all.
Boots #1 and #1973 of each style in this collection are available to the highest bidders. Bidding will be open for 10 days on first and last pairs of the Super 6", the World Hiker and the Super Boot in both black and hazel brown colorways. The auction begins on September 25th and the final bell sounds October 5th. All auction proceeds will be donated to the Rainforest Alliance in support of their work in sustainable travel.
The Rig Out is a collective of guys who appreciate authentic products, the culture surrounding them, and the brands behind them. That’s exactly why we asked them to tell our story and the story of the three boots we’ve remade — or re-imagined: the Super 6", the Super Boot and the World Hiker.
Our original Yellow Boot, reimagined and upgraded to be even tougher with the additions of a waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane, an authentic Italian-made Vibram® sole and 400g of Primaloft® insulation.
By 1994, the culmination of more than two decades of bootmaking knowledge led to the creation of the World Hiker — a boot built to tame the European Alps while providing a perfect fit and extreme comfort. It’s often referred to as one of the best hiking boots ever made.
Nearly indestructible, designed to withstand the harsh elements and terrain of Alaska. We used direct-from-the-vault original styling, Italian-made Vibram® soles and 200 grams of PrimaLoft® insulation.
