Timberland is a founding member of the Organic Exchange a non-profit organization dedicated to building corporate demand and commitments for purchasing organic fiber. Today the organization includes every major buyer of organic cotton and thousands of farmers around the world. It plays a critical role in building the supply of organic cotton in an over-stressed marketplace. Demand exceeds supply. Our ongoing support of the Exchange’s efforts with farmers is crucial to our goal of securing organic cotton and producing eco-effective product.
